The American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection” 2018 presented by Macy’s is an exclusive event where top designers, models and celebrities demonstrate their support for women’s heart health during New York Fashion Week. Founded by The Heart Truth, the event reminds women of the need to protect their heart health, inspiring them to make a change because cardiovascular diseases claim the lives of about one woman every 80 seconds – unnecessarily. The good news is that 80 percent of cardiovascular diseases, including stroke, may be preventable with education and lifestyle changes. Go Red For Women encourages all women be informed, make the time to “Know Your Numbers” and inspire friends and loved ones to lead healthy lives.
