Emilia Giuran is the name behind Emily G brand. She entered the fashion world in the spring of 2013 with the launch of the first Emily G collection. She began experimenting with her mother’s sewing machine in eighth grade. As she earned her degree in multimedia and performing arts from Massachusetts college of art, she continued sewing and created “applecart”, a line of hand bags and accessories. As “applecart” grew she never stopped creating unique, one-of-a-kind clothing for herself. She moved to Brooklyn in 2008 to take a job as a manager of independent boutiques, and started to focus more on clothing rather than handbags. With no previous experience in the world of fashion, Emilia is following her long life dream, driven by her passion and love for creating feminine and sensual garments. This is the beginning of an exciting story, woven with passion, emotion, patience and perseverance. She succeeds in mixing traditionally and classic feminine styling with contemporary romanticism for her label to create timeless and fascinating gowns for the individual brides and custom-made evening dresses. All of the Emily G dresses are designed by their designer, Emilia Giuran and crafted locally in Constanta using couture dressmaking techniques only with the finest fabrics.
