Rachel Gilbert, Australian designer has perfected the art of occasion dressing with designs that require little accessorizing. In 2004 she moved to New York as head designer for Nicky Hiltons’s label chick. The photography course was not starting for 6 months, so she tried her hand at fashion design and enrolled at the Whitehouse institute of design and shifted her focus to fashion. After study she worked for Lisa Ho, hotel heiress Nicky Hilton’s label chick and as women’s wear designer at Morrissey. Luxury infiltrates every element of the brand. Initiating from the designers studio, then passed to the skilled craftsmanship of hand-beaders, finally culminating in the boutique experience where each design is showcased.
